Hope Recovery Ministries is recovery in the name of Jesus. We offer Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered recovery program for anyone facing hurts, habits, and hang-ups, along with Life Recovery services both within the church and at our local detention center.

Our ministry is led by a passionate, trained team devoted to addiction recovery, relapse and overdose prevention, and deliverance through salvation, as proclaimed in Acts 2:38. As a certified recovery congregation, we provide three separate recovery services each week that qualify for court-mandated recovery requirements.

We believe in the power of divine intervention and the transforming work of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the answer. Hope is here!

We are Justin and Chesney Horton, and we have been joyfully married since 2015. Together, we are raising three incredible children and have had the privilege of serving in ministry at CAC since 2013.

Over the years, we have served in many roles—from Sunday school teachers to youth leaders—but our deepest passion is recovery ministry. Under the guidance and covering of our pastoral leadership, we officially began developing what is now Hope Recovery Ministries in January 2021.

It is an honor to serve within our church several times each week, as well as to volunteer weekly at the Hamilton County Jail and Detention Center. Through these opportunities, God has allowed, us to build meaningful connections within the community. Our ministry is unique in that we are deeply committed to kingdom-minded outreach and purpose-driven passion, meeting people where they are while pointing them to lasting hope in Christ.

We are incredibly grateful for our dedicated team, who serve with the same passion and heart for restoration. Their faithfulness greatly extends our reach and impact. None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our church family and leadership.
